A Gay and A Straight Woman (A Collection of Stories)

This collection of short stories presents itself as a series of vignettes from the author's life, coursing through the tales and travails of people from various walks of life, unified by their universal human condition of sadness, hope, joy, fears and trials. From a single mother traversing through life's perils as she raises a differently abled son all by herself, to a scholar who finds his vocation via a series of unfortunate events, to even the love story of two dogs, each story is an act unto itself, presenting a slice of life that readers might find refreshingly and interestingly different from their own. Stories of valour, stories of joy and even surrealism, they all find their way in this book teeming with the pulsating nature of life in its various hues, as the author meditates upon topics as varied as technology, existentialism, superstition and courage.
