About the book
Athena's Owl Never Flies at Night centers around the oriental concept “Reincarnation”. A young philistine wholived somewhere in the west unveils some of his excruciating experience before a stranger and thenends himself after a comic fashion. .His purified “Atman” finds a nest in the womb of an Indian woman. She gives birth to a boy child during the night on “Ashtami Rohini” which is the natal star of Krishna, the ninth incarnationof Lord Vishnu. By virtue of his birth star he is endowed with some uncanny powers .But his atman also carries with it certain traits of his former vagrant life. The contradiction thus forms within make him a mock-god. Destiny with its mighty hand drags him through the mesh work of sex, violence, murder and rebelliousness which are regularly acclaimed as his predetermined mission, by the blind world of objectified illusion that we call philosophy .But fortunately he knows that the resurgentmythology iswaiting for him on the last corner,to dissolve him in the coolness of another deluge.
