ज़िन्दगी के चंद पन्ने (कविता-संग्रह)

When Akriti was just ten years of age she would casually scrawl a few sentences or short poems on pages of her notebook, or would write a few lines randomly on a piece of paper and throw them here or there on the floor. Her mother at times picked them up and after careful reading sensed that these writings had some deeper meaning. She would put them in a folder or at some secure place. This routine continued for months and years. Her mother would lovingly nudge and encourage her to continue to write. Select poems thus collected in Akriti’s early years are being published here in this edition under the title ‘Zindagi Ke Chand Panne’. Most of the these poems were written in simple mix of Hindi and Urdu words of our daily conversation.
