About the book
The book on Contemporary Relevance of the Ideas of Mahatma Gandhi is an attempt to bring in focus the continuing relevance of the Ideas of Mahatma Gandhi. The ever increasing violence in various parts of the world in general and the war between Russia and Ukraine in particular has attracted the attention of the scholars in India and abroad towards Gandhian solutions. It is a well established fact that violence breeds violence and advocate non-violent methods to save the future generations from violence. The mixing of religion with politics and its after effects are alarming and demands Gandhian methodology for permanent solution. The present book is a serious effort in this direction. We wish that it will be received by the readers and invite the comments from them to make further improvement. The book will also initiate an academic dialogue for the balanced assessment of the ideas of Mahatma Gandhi.
