Echoes (Poems)

Mystical insight allows a poem to find a lifelong place at the bottom of a reader’s heart, and while reading Mallika Bhaumik’s anthology of poems, I was wondering how I can create a huge warehouse deep down my heart to accommodate varied intense, passionate thoughts, deep rooted introspection, peaceful co-existence of agony and ecstasy, a mother’s empathy, and many more life centric perceptions and perspectives dwelling at the soul of the poems of Echoes. Each poem is a reader’s delight. Each poem opens up a new window of life. Each poem is relentlessly thought provoking. One needs to read them to believe them. -- Biplab Das Gupta (actor, writer, director).
