About the book

This anthology of Nature and environmental stories is the outcome of our solidarity to the principles of #GenerationRestoration Movement of the UNEP. The 21 stories in the book are a set of stories from India, all related to the future of our planet, beauties of Nature, environmental issues and survival of nonhuman families etc.. The stories have been written by eminent professors, school teachers, research scholars and professional writers from different parts of the country. About the Editors Prof. Dr. K. V. Dominic, English poet, critic, short story writer and editor has authored/edited 50 books including 14 collections of poems—eight in English and one each in Hindi, Bengali, French, Tamil, Gujarati and Malayalam (Translations by renowned writers) and 8 books of short stories—four in English and one each in Hindi, Malayalam, Bengali and French (Translations). There are five critical books on his poetry and one on short stories. He is the Secretary of Guild of Indian English Writers, Editors and Critics (GIEWEC), and Chief Editor of the international refereed biannual research journals Writers Editors Critics (WEC) and International Journal on Multicultural Literature (IJML). PhD researches have been done on his poetry. He is a former Associate Professor of the PG and Research Department of English, Newman College, Thodupuzha, Kerala, India. Dr. Tanmoy Bhattacharjee has earned his PhD from the Department of English, West Bengal State University, West Bengal, India. 'Understanding Environment: An Anthology of Critical Essays' is his debut edition on the interface between environment and literature. His participation in the IAFOR International Conference on Arts and Humanities in Hawaii, USA, in 2024 deserves mention.
