This book is an exploration of the importance of inclusivity and representation in children’s literature. It seeks to shed light on the challenges faced by underrepresented groups in the literary world, examine the role of diverse voices in writing and illustration, and offer insights into how the industry can continue to evolve to meet the needs of a changing world. Through this exploration, we hope to inspire authors, illustrators, educators, and parents to engage in the ongoing work of creating a more inclusive literary landscape. About the Editors Dr Abhisarika Prajapati serves as an Associate Professor and Head of the Dept of English at REVA University, Bengaluru. Her areas of academic interest includes violence studies, Feminism, Indian writing in English and Women’s studies. With approximately two decades of teaching experience she is known as a notable academician with several scholarly papers and articles in her credit. She is also on the editorial board of many recognised journals and magazines and has delivered numerous invited talks in institutes and colleges of repute. Ashitha K. is an Assistant Professor at REVA University with a background in English Literature and Language. Her academic contributions span gender studies, cultural studies, AI, and English language teaching, with research papers and presentations on these subjects. Swati Reddy is an Assistant Professor of English and a dedicated academician, currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Ecofeminis m and Green Studies from REVA University, Bangalore. Suganthi Asaal A. is an Assistant Professor of Engli sh at REVA University with over a decade of teaching experience. Madhusudan N is an Assistant Professor and a Research Scholar in Gender Studies at REVA University, Bangalore. He holds an MA in English Studies from National College, Bangalore, and a TEFL degree.
