Muffled Moans Unleashed

This is a curious anthology compiled by two very well-known poets whose works over the years have greatly shuffled the literary world in the kind of impact they make in telling their stories about the world around them. Human abuse and torture that often find expression in the lives of the weak and the vulnerable, especially in the lives of women and children will hurt a peaceful soul hard enough to express a form of disapproval in angst and disgust. These are musings we cannot possibly ignore in a world where we seek fairness and decency and where the law exists and must work. After all “we are the miracles that make things happen” and so if right thinking and generously gifted individuals who can speak out will ignore the diatribe of hate against the peace of the world, nobody in any generation will forgive them. It is the reason why the anthony is cut out as a unique piece of work and reflects contemporary thoughts to energize and empower society. – Rashid Pelpuo , Poet-politician, Ghana, West Africa The true character of a society is revealed in how it treats children. – Nelson Mandela The huge number of violence and child abuse acts have been waiting since long for attention and responses. Experts have recently expressed their support for a return to primary female responsibility, the maternal one of education. But I personally believe that a great attention is needed on the part of educational institutions and the international community, considering the gravity of the phenomenon mainly in some areas of the world. I also believe it is the duty of people endowed with a special sensibility to turn the spotlight on these brutal behaviours to show them in all their heinous aspects along with their tragic consequences both on the physical and psychological level.
