About the book
The Course of My Divine Hippocrene
Sadly puzzled all night that my
Divine Hippocrene was drying up,
I came out and saw the rapturous
Sight of a rosy dawn smiling with a
‘Good Morning’ face, and then heard
A voice: “I’m your Guardian Angel come
To revive your Divine Spring”.
The heavenly rill flowed fast posting
Poem after poem in ‘Oriental Poetry’
And my ‘Timeline’ of the Facebook
On the moods, memories, and heart-aches
Sweet of the ‘love-lorn’, the beauty of
The starry sky, and the world lighted by
The moon and blighted by Nature’s fury.
Sick Keats appeared briefly to watch his
‘Blushful Hippocrene’ and Shelley reciting
From his Adonais , ‘The One remains, the
Many change and pass’; at last the mythical
Occidental stream, my Divine Hippocrene,
Merged in the Oriental sea at the feet of the
Lord of the universe leaving these poems,
Twelve of which are about the great ‘Mystery
Wrapped in a riddle’, as a humble offering.
