For all types of visitors, these are places to hang around and spend the holidays with some purpose. During the journey one will pass through several villages, ancient temples and monasteries, other religious destinations, verdant forests, pastures and stunning mountain views with springs. Meeting multi- ethnic local people, knowing their rich cultures, viewing the awesome and snowcapped Himalayan ranges with scintillating sunrises and sunsets would be an excellent respite from the noise and stress of modern life. Pilgrimage, trekking, paragliding, rafting in rivers, hill and rock climbing are the major attractions. The warm welcome of the local people, their smiles, mouth watering local organic foods / other cuisines would be a life time memory. One who has been to these regions of Nepal in one's life expects to have a yearning for frequent visits. Author is of the view that joint efforts are required from government, policy makers, tourism entrepreneurs and local stakeholders to promote these places with development of infrastructure, as these areas are rich with scenic beauty and diversities.
