Sanjh Se Bhor Tak

Radhe Shyam Sharma was among those rare individuals who revolted and reacted, against his immediate surroundings, societal impositions, and customs and found refuge in the worlds of letters, of knowledge, and of literature. He pursued the course of this intellectual voyage as an academic of repute and as a poet- a poet sensitive and alive to the several currents that he encountered in his life, who preferred to keep his poetry veiled. Though he occasionally participated and presented his poetry in kavi sammelans and also published part of these during his youth, he remained mostly averse to the idea of publishing a collection of his poetry- For him his poetry was essentially an articulation of his innermost intensely personal emotions that should be sheltered from public gaze.
