UnBridled

This poetry collection written over a span of two years is a compilation reflecting the people, places, situations, and experiences that may or may not have occurred in my life as well as in the real or imaginary lives of other characters. The physical terrain of the collection spans across small villages, towns, and metropolitan cities, both in India and abroad. The psychological panorama spreads across various feelings, emotions, relationships, nostalgic memories, temples and associated festivals, nature and its various elements. The interconnection and coexistence of all these in our lives is represented as seen through the moments shared among friends, lovers, partners, spouses, parents, and common people, in various scenarios. The confessional notes found in certain poems could be personal, imagined, or perceived. The imprint of technology and social media has left an undeniable impact on us, and this indisputable influence finds its place in a few poems. As the poems meander in a flow of words cruising through myriad expressions of life in its multitudinous hues, the reader embarks on rides, short and long, that unravel the changing, evolving course of the journey of life, almost rendering a story-like feature to the collection.
