“This poet, I feel, is lone roader. His poetic voice is all his own. He doesn’t go by conventional prescriptions; nor does he take the trodden path worn out by heavy traffic. He doesn’t take on the mantle of a visionary, a seer, a prophet. He speaks of things known to him and close to his heart. Govindankutty does make a statement but he doesn’t use a megaphone.
