Biography

Dr. Jyotsana Sonal is an educator and academician with over a decade of teaching experience, with a multidisciplinary background in History, Education, and the study of disadvantaged and marginalised sections of society. She did her B.A. (Hons) History from University of Delhi, M.A. History from Himachal Pradesh University, M. Phil and Ph. D. from NIEPA, New Delhi. Her teaching and academic interests focus on understanding historical processes, educational practices, and issues of social inequality and inclusion. With a commitment to learner-centred and socially responsive education, she seek to connect academic knowledge with contemporary social realities and encourage critical, reflective, and inclusive learning.
