This paper attempts to analy se the norms of patriarchy due to which the female is victimi sed more in comparison to the male. It explores male domination over the society , which always places men in the center and s prings opportunities for them to make their identity . Men have control over decision making, women ’s productive and reproductive ability as well as their sexuality . It also demonstrates how patriarchy affects the family , relation of men and women, and econ omic condition of women. It also analyses how female participates in this system by accepting the norms of patriarchy because they are taught to be dominated by male
