Naipaul's travels mould his displaced self and his desperate morality into an ecstasy. He mystically associates himself with the subjects that belong to his lost inherited past. His archetype feelings towards moral and social relativism explore the dimensions of memory and his conscience's voice. This paper intends to focus on how Naipaul in his travelogues evolves his self and readers' selves through the process of dialogue and perceptual selection and defense. It also discusses how he tries to demystify misrepresentation, prejudices, religious manifestations and orientations in his creative art and in reality
