Knowledge Society for Sustainable Development

The book contributes to a better understanding of the role of Knowledge Societies for a sustainably developed society. It is based on the two-day national seminar on Knowledge Society for Sustainable Society, held in 2015 at St Xavier's College, Patna, which brought together experts from Bihar and across India. The book highlights sustainable development in relation to the knowledge society and hence a smart and a truly egalitarian future helps provide a better understanding of the interplay between sustainable development and knowledge society. Besides, it proffers fresh insights into the empirical and theoretical matters of our society and rise to new ideas for sustainable development.
