Soulscapes (Poems)

In a world of similarities, what enables a gifted writer to stand out in a crowd, is precisely that unique voice; unfound elsewhere. Dr. Joseph's is such a unique voice with an indigenous diction that nuances itself to contemporaneity in a ribbon like flow. With hypnotic precision and the deft dance of a natural wordsmith, Dr. Joseph carries us on a voyage of discovery, both internal and without. The Haibun-style poetry of Dr. Joseph is located in her attention to setting, scene, or moment and its combinations. Whilst not strictly Haibun or Zuihitsu, Dr. Joseph’s poetry reflects the same incorporation of musings, and confessions, alongside miscellany and poetry to create a spontaneous, layered text of her own making. The unfiltered, raw beauty of her observations and life-thus-far painted into words, will hold you in a thrall. Readers do make your entry to get a hands on touch of reality!
