Srimad Bhagavata Mahapurana (As I Understand)

Men who are devoted, pursue the path of truth, devoutness, empathy and dedication, and delight the Supreme and attain euphoric divine state of mind and heart. At present, sacred places look contaminated and filthy as sins, indulgence, and obsession for material joys overwhelm. Now, Dharma is quiet as men of religion are swindlers, frauds, and so total lack of truth and virtues. However, one learns that life of wisdom, knowledge and objectivity is possible only through intense spirit of devotion. If one abandons love and infatuation for worldly pleasures, divine joy fills him. If one focuses mind on the Supreme lord with total rejection and denial, one attains peace and tranquility. He forgets materialistic restraints. The message of Sri Mad Bhagavata Mahapurana if it was relevant in ancient times, it is enormously germane today. If man's worries and anxieties distress him today, he should learn what the great scripture tells about Dharma – life of worship, understanding, truth and righteousness. All created beings work on the wishes of the Supreme. If human beings feel attached to the acquisitive objectives of life, it is again the wish of architect, the Supreme as the modes of Prakriti -the three Gunas, based on the quality –good or bad of Karmas, guide.
