Srimad Bhagavata Mahapurana (As I Understand)

Srimad Bhagavata expounds extent of philosophy in straightforward language, and conveys what the Vedas, the Upanishads and various other ancient scriptures as well as Puranas speak. Puranas also tell the truth about life and existence through various tales, and the directness of the sacrosanct hallowed text mesmerizes people, who as enshrined in the scripture, organize Yajnas, hear delightful and sanctifying stories and legends, and sing glory of the Supreme lord as expected. Contemporary man is engaged in mundane affairs, and sufferings make life miserable with little joys. Sufferings originate from the noticeable or undetectable imperfection or instinctive margins -negative and unprincipled or constructive and ethical, when a man cannot fine-tune or restructure priorities of life. To teach right objective and quintessence of life and existence, the Scripture emphasizes that devotion is the right path to attain Mukti. However, listening to the tales with devotion tears down materialistic, physical miseries and distress, bestows spiritual light and guarantees Moksa to devotees, and therefore, a man should understand the import of devotion, which is essential to attain liberation.
