Politics and Society In South Asia

The book “Politics and Society in South Asia” seeks to address the emerging social, economic, political and environmental issues of the South Asian countries by presenting research and analysis, which are both cross-sectional and multi-disciplinary. The book aims to create a research space to explore the emerging multi-dimensional issues and shall benefit the researchers working on South Asia and South Asian Diasporas in the post-colonial era. The book encourages the development of future research agendas across arts and social sciences disciplines based on the South Asian region. About the Editors Dr. Nazmul Hussain Laskar is an Assistant Professor and Head in the Department of Political Science in Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Govt.Model College, Katlicherra, Hailakandi, Assam. Dr. Aftabuddin Ahammad is is an Assistant Professor and Head in the Department of Political Science in Bhairab Ganguly College, Belgharia, Kolkata, India. Dr. Amit Kumar Mandal is an Independent Researcher & Assistant Headmaster in the Department of Political Science in Nawpukuria J. J. High School (H.S), Murshidabad, West Bengal. Dr. Sunder Arumugam is an Assistant Professor of Social Work in Dr. Kalaignar M. Karunanidhi Government Institute for Post Graduate Studies and Research in Karaikal District, U T of Puducherry. Dr. Susmita Brahma is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science at Chandraketugarh Sahidullah Smriti Mahavidyalaya. Raashi Kumar is Faculty cum Research Associate at Indian Institute of Finance, Greater Noida.
